Hawaiian Sweet Potato Casserole

2 large Hawaiian sweet potatoes,
peeled and sliced ¼ “ thick
6T water
4 bananas, sliced
1/4C butter
1/4C brown sugar

"HIBISCUS"

Place potatoes and water in glass casserole dish.  Cook 5 minutes in microwave oven.  Add sliced bananas.  Dot with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.  Cover and cook 5 more minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Hawaiian Hibiscus

This large branching shrub is grown for its large five petaled flowers that are continually produced. since each individual flower last only one day, the blooms are rarely seen in any tropical arrangements. The red is the commonest of colors, however, hybrids are available in almost every shade but blue.
